Davide Facchini

Electric and acoustic guitar player, Davide Facchini has been present for over 20 years in the Italian and international guitar scene thanks to a solid experience that allowed him to achieve a remarkable versatility and expertise in different musical genres and guitar styles.

In the late 80’s he began to teach, perform and record.

He has the Degree at the D.A.M.S. (Disciplines of Arts, Music and Show) in Bologna, ITALY, with a thesis on the “Pedagogic Reasons and Aspects of Popular Music using in School”.

He worked as musical consultant for ‘Mediaset Television Group’, the biggest private TV company in Italy and Europe, sited in Milan.

He continued his studies in Master Classes and Workshops concerning Musictherapy, Musical Consulting Operating, Arrangements and Afro-American Music.

He performed with some of the most important fingerstyle representatives, such as Tommy Emmanuel, Stephen Bennett, Paul Franklin, Muriel Anderson, Thom Bresh, Buster B. Jones, Jim Nichols, Carl Verheyen, Beppe Gambetta, Frank Vignola, Monte Montgomery, Greg Koch and many others.

He can look back 4 books dedicated to the guitar in all its aspects and the recording of 4 CDs, the last of which was honored with the “LadyLake Indie Music Awards” Best Album 2013 U.S.A.

Since the year 2000 she has performed in Duo with the singer Anita Camarella.

Over the last 10 years they have been committed to researching, analysing and working-out songs from the “Italian Swing era” of the ‘30s and ‘40s.

Radio stations in United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Tunisia, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia and Italy have broadcasted their music.

They have toured extensively, including prestigious festivals and exhibitions in Italy, Europe, United States and Russia, also performing in some of the most important and renowned concert halls (e.g. Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium).

He regularly teaches acoustic and electric guitar in different Music Schools, also as a workshop supervisor about different Guitar Styles and for “Contemporary Popular Music Guide and Listening”.
